UAE: Inflation ebbs in November from October
Latest reading: Consumer prices in Dubai were up 2.7% on a year-on-year basis in November, following a 3.4% increase in the prior month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, there were reduced price pressures for housing and utilities (+5.3% on a year-on-year basis vs +5.5% in October) and transport (+0.2% vs +4.2% in October). In contrast, price pressures were higher for food and beverages in November (+0.7% vs +0.4% in October).
Lastly, consumer prices in Dubai fell 0.17% in November on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.63% increase in the prior month.
