Industrial production decelerates in February
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 4.0% in annual terms in February, following 13.3% growth in the previous month. Relative to the previous month's figures, readings in February softened for manufacturing (-2.2% on a year-on-year basis vs +1.3% in January), mining and quarrying (-37.2% vs -30.8% in January) and electricity and gas supply (+24.6% vs +57.0% in January). On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production fell 1.3% in February, following 3.1% growth in the previous month.
