Industrial production growth slows in December
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 10.1% in annual terms in December, following a 10.8% increase in the previous month. Relative to the prior month's figures, readings in December worsened for manufacturing (+10.9% in annual terms vs +11.8% in November), mining and quarrying (+0.2% vs +7.0% in November) and water supply (+6.3% vs +6.5% in November). In contrast, the reading for electricity improved in December (+11.2% vs +5.8% in November).
