Industrial production loses momentum in October
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 10.8% in annual terms in October, following a 13.6% rise in the previous month. October’s reading marked the 20th consecutive month of growth. Relative to the prior month's figures, readings in October worsened for manufacturing (+11.3% in annual terms vs +12.7% in September), energy (+11.0% vs +15.4% in September) and mining and quarrying (+3.1% vs +22.4% in September). In contrast, the reading for water supply improved in October (+12.2% vs +8.7% in September).
