Industrial production falls in February
Latest reading: Industrial production declined 0.6% on a working-day and seasonally adjusted year-on-year basis in February, following 3.3% growth in the previous month. Relative to the previous month's data, readings in February worsened for manufacturing (-1.1% in annual terms vs +2.9% in January) and mining and quarrying (+1.3% vs +10.7% in January). On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production declined 0.8% in February, following a 1.0% fall in the previous month.
