Belarus: Industrial production recovers in July
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 0.1% in annual terms in July, following a 0.7% drop in the prior month. July’s reading was the strongest since June 2025.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, readings in July improved for manufacturing (-1.2% on a year-on-year basis vs -2.1% in June), mining and quarrying (+2.7% vs +2.6% in June) and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (+1.8% vs +1.4% in June). Finally, the variation in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply was the same as in the prior month (+7.9% in July and June).
