Croatia: Industrial production decelerates in March
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 0.8% on a working-day adjusted year-on-year basis in March, following a 1.2% increase in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, the reading for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply worsened in March (-6.2% in working-day adjusted year-on-year terms vs +7.1% in February). In contrast, readings picked up for mining and quarrying (+3.4% vs -4.2% in February) and manufacturing (+1.9% vs +1.3% in February).
In working-day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, industrial production fell 1.7% in March, following a 0.8% decline in the prior month.
