Croatia: Industrial production returns to growth in February
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 1.2% in working-day adjusted year-on-year terms in February, following a 0.8% decline in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in February improved for mining and quarrying (-4.2% in working-day adjusted year-on-year terms vs -13.7% in January) and manufacturing (+1.3% vs -0.8% in January). In contrast, the reading for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply softened in February (+7.1% vs +11.1% in January).
In working-day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, industrial production declined 0.8% in February, following a 2.4% fall in the previous month.
