Denmark: Manufacturing production returns to growth in March
Latest reading: Manufacturing production was up 8.6% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in March, following a 4.5% fall in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, readings in March improved for non-durable consumer goods (+9.2% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs -4.2% in February), investment goods (+9.5% vs -5.2% in February) and intermediate goods (+4.3% vs -1.9% in February).
On a seasonally adjusted year-on-year basis, manufacturing production rose 20.9% in March, following a 6.4% increase in the prior month.
