Dominican Republic: Economic activity accelerates in March
Latest reading: Economic activity increased 5.1% in annual terms in March, following 3.9% growth in the prior month. March’s reading was the strongest in a year. According to preliminary data, the improvement was driven by stronger growth in manufacturing, construction and services. That said, agriculture and mining decelerated.
In month-on-month terms, economic activity increased 0.7% in March, following 1.0% growth in the previous month.
