Netherlands: Economic sentiment increases in July
Latest reading: Economic sentiment went up to 102.9 in July, following June’s 101.6. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy and the highest since May 2022.
In July, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (+2.1 vs +1.6 in June), the construction sector (+17.3 vs +16.9 in June), the services sector (+4.2 vs +3.9 in June), the retail sector (+9.4 vs +2.2 in June) and among consumers (-15.9 vs -17.4 in June).
