Poland: Economic sentiment falls in April
Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 100.2 in April, following March’s 101.0. Still, the latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In April, sentiment darkened in the construction sector (-15.9 vs -15.6 in March), the services sector (-4.5 vs -2.5 in March), the retail sector (-0.6 vs -0.5 in March) and among consumers (-4.9 vs -2.0 in March). In contrast, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (-13.7 vs -14.9 in March).
