Slovakia: Industrial production shrinks in February
Latest reading: Industrial production was down 2.9% on a year-on-year basis in February, following a 2.5% rise in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in February softened for manufacturing (-3.0% in annual terms vs +0.7% in January) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-1.9% vs +16.5% in January). In contrast, the reading for mining and quarrying improved in February (-7.0% vs -11.4% in January).
