Vietnam: Merchandise trade deficit increases in July
Latest reading: In July, the trade balance was USD -3.6 billion, following a USD -2.6 billion figure in the previous month. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to USD -9.3 billion.
Merchandise exports increased 25.5% in annual terms in July, following a 28.1% rise in the previous month. Meanwhile, merchandise imports rose 41.7% in year-on-year terms in July, following 45.2% growth in the previous month.
