Croatia: Economic sentiment declines in April
Latest reading: Economic sentiment fell to 103.9 in April, following March’s 106.6. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy and it was the lowest since July 2025.
In April, sentiment darkened in the services sector (+11.0 vs +16.9 in March), the retail sector (-1.7 vs +9.1 in March) and among consumers (-16.0 vs -11.3 in March). On the flipside, sentiment turned more upbeat in the industrial sector (+5.8 vs +5.0 in March) and the construction sector (+11.4 vs +11.0 in March).
