Denmark: Economic sentiment increases in July
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 90.0 in July, following June’s 88.4. The latest reading was below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
In July, sentiment improved in the services sector (+6.4 vs +5.4 in June), the retail sector (+14.6 vs +7.0 in June) and among consumers (-11.2 vs -12.0 in June). However, sentiment darkened in the industrial sector (-17.5 vs -17.0 in June) and the construction sector (-10.6 vs -9.1 in June).
