Vietnam: Industrial production gains steam in June
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 12.7% on a year-on-year basis in June, following a 8.8% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in June improved for manufacturing (+12.6% in annual terms vs +9.0% in May), electricity (+16.6% vs +8.5% in May) and mining and quarrying (+8.8% vs +6.0% in May). Finally, the variation in water supply was the same as in the prior month (+8.7% in June and May).
