Vietnam: Merchandise trade deficit increases in April
Latest reading: In April, the trade balance was USD -3.3 billion, following a USD -0.7 billion reading in the previous month. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to USD +8.8 billion.
Merchandise exports increased 21.2% in annual terms in April, coming on the back of 20.1% growth in the previous month. Merchandise imports increased 32.5% in year-on-year terms in April, following 27.8% growth in the previous month.
