Denmark: Economic sentiment falls in April
Latest reading: Economic sentiment dropped to 89.8 in April, following March’s 91.9. The latest reading was below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
In April, sentiment worsened in the construction sector (-7.9 vs -6.4 in March), the services sector (+6.5 vs +6.8 in March), the retail sector (+2.3 vs +8.4 in March) and among consumers (-14.2 vs -8.3 in March). On the flipside, sentiment turned more upbeat in the industrial sector (-15.4 vs -18.1 in March).
