Estonia: Economic sentiment falls in April
Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 89.7 in April, following March’s 91.0. The latest reading was below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy and was the lowest since August 2025.
In April, sentiment darkened in the construction sector (-7.5 vs -7.0 in March), the services sector (-4.9 vs -1.1 in March) and among consumers (-32.5 vs -29.7 in March). However, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (-10.3 vs -10.4 in March) and the retail sector (-3.9 vs -4.1 in March).
