Lithuania: Economic sentiment improves in April
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 102.7 in April, following March’s 101.1. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In April, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (-5.0 vs -5.1 in March), the services sector (+4.8 vs -1.2 in March) and the retail sector (+7.5 vs +6.0 in March). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the construction sector (-5.2 vs -5.0 in March) and among consumers (-3.3 vs -2.7 in March).
