Finland: Economic sentiment falls to nine-month low in March
Latest reading: Economic sentiment went down to 94.5 in March, following February’s 96.9. The latest reading was below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy, and it was the lowest since June 2025.
In March, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (+0.9 vs +3.0 in February), the services sector (-1.3 vs +3.2 in February), the retail sector (-5.9 vs +8.9 in February) and among consumers (-11.4 vs -10.3 in February). In contrast, sentiment brightened in the construction sector (-15.0 vs -24.0 in February).
