Greece: Economic sentiment falls in April
Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 105.7 in April, following March’s 106.8. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In April, sentiment darkened in the industrial sector (+2.5 vs +3.2 in March), the services sector (+26.9 vs +27.0 in March) and among consumers (-54.7 vs -52.5 in March). On the flipside, sentiment brightened in the construction sector (+32.4 vs +21.5 in March) and the retail sector (+6.7 vs +3.3 in March).
