Coffee Prices

Coffee prices averaged USD 380 cents per pound in November, up 1.7% from October. On 28 November, the commodity traded at USD 378 cents per pound, up 1.6% from 31 October.

In November, prices for arabica coffee rose to their joint-highest level since March. The commodity traded higher as adverse weather in key producer Brazil, plus tight global inventories, threatened the supply outlook. Still, the U.S. exempted Brazilian coffee from its import tariffs, which likely halted the price rally.
