Coffee prices averaged USD 354 cents per pound in December, down 6.7% from November. On 31 December, the commodity traded at USD 337 cents per pound, down 10.9% from 28 November.
In December, prices for arabica coffee fell to a four-month low, capped by an upbeat supply outlook in Brazil. Still, shrinking global inventories, weather shocks in Indonesia and the USDA’s forecast of a year-on-year production decline in 2025/26 kept a floor under prices.
