Coffee prices averaged USD 393 cents per pound in March, down 1.9% from February. On 31 March, the commodity traded at USD 382 cents per pound, up 0.6% from 28 February.
Prices for arabica coffee averaged lower in March on an improving supply outlook. Abundant rainfall in Brazil’s largest coffee-growing region, Minas Gerais, ended a recent dry spell and eased concerns about the country’s production. Additionally, market analysts raised their forecasts for the 2025/26 supply surplus.
