Diesel crack spreads rose for a second month to a fresh record high in August, leading the U.S. President to summon refinery bosses to the White House. Refining has been hit by Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries and the Iran war—which the President recently reignited—pushing down stockpiles to 14% below seasonal norms.
