Soybean prices averaged USD 1,124 cents per bushel in February, up 6.2% from January. On 27 February, the commodity traded at USD 1,157 cents per bushel, up 8.7% from 30 January.
In February, soybean prices averaged their highest level since November 2025, reversing the retreat seen in the prior two months. The USDA raised its 2025/26 projections for global supply on higher production in Brazil and Paraguay and for global demand due to increased soymeal use in the EU. The USDA also cited a potential uptick in demand from China, which should support U.S. grain prices. Still, U.S. export commitments in mid-February remained below year-ago levels.
