Alumina Prices

Alumina prices averaged USD 318 per metric ton in November, down 0.4% from October. On 28 November, the commodity traded at USD 317 per metric ton, up 0.1% from 31 October.

Average alumina prices fell for a third consecutive month and remained at their lowest level since November 2022. Large supply from China—where alumina stocks reached another all-time high at end-November—and large port inventories of bauxite, the raw material of alumina, likely weighed on prices.
