Molybdenum prices averaged USD 63,962 per metric ton in February, unchanged from January. On 27 February, the commodity traded at USD 64,486 per metric ton, up 0.9% from 30 January.
Average molybdenum prices remained close to January’s level in February. Accordingly, prices for the metal—used as an alloy in stainless steel—remained at an over three-year high, supported by improving manufacturing conditions in China.
