Natural gas EU prices averaged USD 10.43 per MMBtu in November, down 4.3% from October. On 28 November, the commodity traded at USD 9.80 per MMBtu, down 6.9% from 31 October.
Average prices continued to trend down and hit a 16-month low in November. Imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the U.S. surged 8.7% from October, helping to keep inventory levels healthy along with recently mild weather and stable flows from Norway. The prospect of a Russia-Ukraine peace deal also pushed down prices.
