Bulgaria: Industrial output rebounds in September
Latest reading: Industrial output rose 1.0% in year-on-year terms in September, which contrasted August’s 4.5% decrease. The figure marked the best reading since April. September’s notable turnaround largely reflected an improvement in manufacturing and mining production.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, factory output rose at a faster rate of 1.2% in September (August: +0.9% mom s.a.), the best result since April. Meanwhile, the trend improved sizably, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 5.0% in September, up from August’s minus 6.1%.
