Bulgaria: Industrial output growth gains momentum in November
Latest reading: Industrial output rose 1.1% compared to the same month a year earlier in November, which was above October’s 0.1% increase. Looking at the details of the release, manufacturing production expanded at a slower rate in November, while mining output decreased at a softer, albeit still pronounced, pace.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rebounded, rising 0.3% in November (October: -0.9% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved significantly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at an over one-year high of minus 3.5%, up from October’s minus 4.7% reading.
