Costa Rica: Consumer prices fall in November
Latest reading: Consumer prices fell 0.1% year-on-year in November, after October’s 0.8% year-on-year decrease. The reading was primarily driven by rising prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The trend pointed up slightly, with the annual average variation of consumer prices coming in at minus 0.6% in November (October: -0.8%).
Lastly, consumer prices increased 0.47% in November over the previous month, contrasting the 0.44% drop logged in October. November’s result was the highest reading since August 2022.
