Croatia: Industrial output rebounds in September
Latest reading: Industrial output increased 1.0% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in September, which contrasted August’s 2.1% decrease. Looking at the details of the release, mining and quarrying production accelerated and manufacturing output rebounded. That said, the contraction in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply output worsened.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.7% in September, down from August’s minus 1.6% reading. On a monthly basis, industrial production increased 5.8% in seasonally adjusted terms in September, rebounding from August’s 4.6% fall.
