Croatia: Harmonized inflation decreases in February
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation inched down to 4.8% in February, following January’s 5.0%. The cooling of price pressures was largely due to softer growth in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages. In addition, price pressures for transportation and for recreation moderated.
Annual average harmonized inflation was unchanged at January’s 4.0% in February. Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 3.7% in February from the previous month’s 4.0%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices increased 0.01% in February over the previous month, slowing down from January’s 0.23% increase.
