Cyprus: Harmonized inflation jumps in November
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation rose to 2.2% in November from October’s 1.6%, matching the Euro area average. The increase was spearheaded by a rebound in housing inflation. Additionally, transport prices fell at a slower pace.
That said, the trend was unchanged, with annual average harmonized inflation stable at October’s 2.2% in November. Meanwhile, consumer price inflation increased to 1.5% in November from October’s 0.6%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices dropped 0.97% in November over the previous month, a more pronounced decrease than the 0.19% drop seen in October.
