Denmark: Economic sentiment jumps to a near three-year high in November
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 105.0 in November from October’s 103.8. November’s reading marked the strongest result since February 2022. Consequently, the index remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected stronger confidence in the services sector and healthier consumer sentiment. Less positively, confidence in the industrial and retail sectors waned, and sentiment in the construction sector deteriorated.
Relating to indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations were healthier, while the economic uncertainty index rose in November.
