Dominican Republic: Inflation holds steady in November
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 3.2% in November, unchanged from October’s result. Prices for food rose at a largely steady pace compared to the prior month, while price pressures for transport plus housing and utilities grew at a faster pace.
Annual average inflation fell to 3.3% in November (October: 3.4%). Meanwhile, core inflation edged down to 3.9% in November from the previous month’s 4.0%.
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.16% from the previous month in November, accelerating from October’s 0.09% rise.
