Estonia: Harmonized inflation moderates in August
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation fell to 3.4% in August, from July’s 3.5%. The decrease was primarily driven by easing price pressures for transport and hospitality.
Annual average harmonized inflation edged down to 3.9% in August (July: 4.0%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 3.2% in August from July’s 3.4%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.38% in August over the previous month, accelerating from July’s 0.22% increase.
