Estonia: Harmonized inflation slides in November
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation came in at 3.8% in November, down from October’s 4.5%. The result was largely due to softer growth in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages. In addition, price pressures for transportation eased. Moreover, prices for recreation grew at a more subdued pace.
Annual average harmonized inflation fell to 3.7% in November (October: 3.8%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 3.7% in November from the previous month’s 4.1%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices fell 0.67% in November over the previous month, swinging from October’s 0.80% increase. November’s result marked the weakest reading since October 2022.
