France: Industrial output bounces back in November
Latest reading: Industrial output increased 0.2% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in November (October: -0.3% mom). This largely reflected rebounds in manufacturing and mining and quarrying output.
On an annual basis, industrial output dropped 1.1% in November, which was below October’s 0.9% fall and marked the worst result since June. Moreover, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 0.4% in November, down from October’s minus 0.1%.
