Greece: Harmonized inflation unchanged in October
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation was stable at September’s 3.1% in October. Softer price pressures for food and housing offset a quicker increase in hospitality prices and a rebound in transportation prices.
The trend was unchanged, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at September’s 3.1% in October. Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 2.4% in October from the previous month’s 2.9%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.07% over the previous month in October, a smaller increase than the 1.79% rise logged in September.
