Lithuania: Economic sentiment increases in November
Latest reading: Economic sentiment came in at 105.4 in November, up from October’s 103.2. November’s result marked the strongest sentiment since February 2022. Consequently, the index rose further above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected stronger sentiment in the industrial, retail and construction sectors. Meanwhile, confidence in the services sector improved in November. That said, consumer confidence softened in November.
Considering indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations improved, while the economic uncertainty index fell in November.
