Lithuania: Industrial output growth loses pace in October
Latest reading: Industrial output rose 2.7% year on year in October, which was a deterioration from September’s 3.4% increase. October’s reading was partly due to softer manufacturing output growth. In contrast, mining and quarrying output rebounded.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output plunged 7.5% in October (September: +0.3% mom), the worst result since September 2022. Meanwhile, the trend improved modestly, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 8.0% in October, up from September’s 7.7% reading.
