Lithuania: Harmonized inflation rises in November
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation jumped to 1.1% in November, up from October’s 0.1%. The pick-up was broad-based, with greater price pressures recorded for food and non-alcoholic beverages, transportation, and housing and utilities.
The trend pointed down slightly, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 0.8% in November (October: 0.9%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation rose to 1.3% in November from the previous month’s 0.3%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices increased 0.56% in November over the previous month, accelerating from October’s 0.06% increase. November’s figure marked the highest reading since February.
