Poland: Economic sentiment rises into optimistic territory in February
Latest reading: Economic sentiment came in at 100.9 in February, up from January’s 97.5. Consequently, the index exceeded the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected stronger sentiment in the industrial, retail and construction sectors. Additionally, confidence in the services sector and among consumers strengthened in February.
Regarding indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations deteriorated, while the economic uncertainty index decreased in February.
