Poland: Economic sentiment improves in March
Latest reading: Economic sentiment came in at 101.1 in March, up from February’s 100.9. As a result, the index remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected healthier sentiment in the industrial sector, whereas sentiment in the construction, retail and services sectors waned. Consumer confidence also declined.
Regarding indicators that are not used to calculate the index, the economic uncertainty index rose and employment expectations improved.
