Poland: Industrial output rebounds in December
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 0.2% year on year in December (November: -1.3% yoy). The recovery was due to a rebound in mining and quarrying output plus a softer fall in manufacturing activity.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output fell 1.1% in December from November’s 3.0%. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at a near three-year high of 3.3% in December, up from November’s 2.6%.
