Qatar: Inflation dips to near zero in December
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 0.2% in December, down from November’s 1.0% as prices for food and transport fell. The print meant that consumer prices rose 1.3% over 2024 as a whole, the weakest annual increase since 2020. Price pressures remained weak as a result of government subsidies and the domestic currency’s peg to the U.S. dollar.
