Qatar: Inflation comes in at highest level since February in August
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 1.1% in August, up from July’s 0.2%. August’s result represented the highest inflation rate since February. The result was driven by a softer fall in prices for housing and a rebound in prices for transport.
Annual average inflation fell to 1.5% in August (July: 1.6%).
Lastly, consumer prices increased 0.34% in August over the previous month, swinging from the 0.38% fall seen in July.
