Russia: Industrial output growth ebbs in November
Latest reading: Industrial output grew 3.7% compared to the same month a year earlier in November, which followed October’s 4.8% increase. Looking at the details of the release, manufacturing production grew at a softer rate in November. More positively, mining and quarrying output contracted at a softer pace.
Accordingly, annual average industrial production growth fell to 4.3% in November (October: +4.4%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose at a quicker rate of 0.7% in November (October: +0.5% mom).
