Saudi Arabia: Inflation holds stable in February
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 2.0% in February, matching January’s reading. Looking at the details of the release, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose at a quicker rate in February and prices for clothing and footwear dropped at a slower pace. Meanwhile, housing and utilities price growth softened.
Annual average inflation was unchanged at January’s 1.7% in February.
Lastly, consumer prices increased 0.17% over the previous month in February, which was below the 0.30% rise logged in January.
